How Do I Call a Tenant?

Call a tenant

Open the property and tap Call tenant. This dials the tenant's number directly from your phone, the same as any normal call. The tenant will see the virtual number and not your number. Any communication with the tenant is recorded and logged in the property activity feed, so you can see when you called and what was said.

How do I call a tenant from a different number?

Tapping Call tenant already shows the tenant the property's TenantCall number rather than your personal one, so there's no extra step needed for that on its own. What this covers is calling a tenant when you're not on your usual phone — someone else's mobile, a landline, a second device — and so can't just tap the button in the app:

  1. Dial the property's TenantCall number from whatever phone you have to hand.
  2. When prompted, enter your dial-back PIN (set in Settings → Calling a tenant back).
  3. TenantCall connects you to the tenant.

The tenant sees the same caller ID either way — the property's TenantCall number, never your personal number — so dialling in this way keeps that consistent even when you're calling from a phone that isn't your own.
