Terms of Service
Last updated 15 July 2026
These terms govern your use of TenantCall — our virtual phone number service for private landlords — including tenancall.co.uk, the TenantCall web app, and the calling, voicemail, recording, transcription, and SMS features included in your account. By using this site, submitting the Get Started form, or using a TenantCall account, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
TenantCall is operated by Destar Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 04019693), registered office Suite 2, 1 Kings Road, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England, RG45 7BF.
What TenantCall provides
TenantCall gives each of your rental properties a dedicated virtual phone number, along with call answering, forwarding, and voicemail; call recording and AI-generated transcripts and summaries; automatic SMS replies to missed calls and other SMS messaging; and the TenantCall web app, where you manage your properties and see your call and message activity. We aim to run a great service, but we provide it on a best-efforts basis and don't guarantee that any feature will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at any time.
Plans and tiers
TenantCall is offered on a small number of subscription tiers, which differ in things like how many virtual numbers are included, your call-minute and SMS allowances, and how long we retain your recordings. What your plan includes is shown in your account. We may introduce, change, or retire tiers at any time.
Starting your subscription
Submitting the "Get Started" form creates your TenantCall account and begins your subscription. From that point, these terms — including the sections on fees, data retention, and liability below — apply to your account.
Acceptable use
You may not use TenantCall to submit false or misleading information, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, or scrape or harvest content from our site. You're responsible for how you use your virtual numbers and SMS features, including meeting any recording, transcription, or consent obligations that apply to your tenancies.
What we store, and for how long
To provide the service, we store your account and contact details, your properties' details, any tenant contact details you give us, and records of calls, voicemails, SMS messages, recordings, and transcripts.
We keep your recordings, voicemails, and transcripts for as long as your account stays open. We may delete older recordings at our discretion — for example, to manage storage — even before your account is closed. Once your account is closed, this data is deleted and cannot be recovered.
Fees and payment
TenantCall is paid in advance. If a payment fails, is disputed (including chargebacks), or is found to be fraudulent, we may suspend your account immediately and, if the position isn't resolved, close it. Closing your account for any of these reasons results in the loss of all data held on it, including recordings, transcripts, and message history.
Price changes
We may increase the price of your plan once a year, at our discretion. Any increase in a given year will not exceed the UK Retail Prices Index (RPI) plus 4%. We'll give you reasonable notice of a price change before it takes effect on your account.
Changes, suspension, and availability
We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the service — including individual features or the service as a whole — temporarily or permanently, at any time and without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from a change, suspension, or withdrawal of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Destar Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or consequential or indirect loss or damage arising from or connected with your use of TenantCall — including lost profits, lost business, or lost data — except where liability cannot be excluded under English law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
Intellectual property
The TenantCall name and logo, and the text, graphics, and design of this site and the web app, belong to Destar Limited or its licensors. You may view and print pages from this site for your own personal use, but may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute them without our permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
